We all live in a "weird" time.
The mud slinging and wrong info is so big against brand from specific country to confuse people. i.e. that brand have ads, that brand quality bad, that brand battery not good because charge too fast.

You can get the help of a technician to solder the Nokia G11 Plus' BMS onto a similarly sized Si/C battery, once the Li-Po battery ages and makes the phone unusable. So it's essentially pointless to dispose cash onto a newer phone with little to no improvements.
If you're from a third world country that isn't India, you'll have to live with minimal options and abysmal prices, unfortunately.

The US government regulates special licenses that are required for companies to export items to Huawei, and they need to be refreshed or are often revoked. It's likely that it took some time for Sony to apply for these licenses before they could restart their business with Huawei again.

At least my dying G11 Plus got updated to Android 14 before HMD kill support for Nokia brand. No idea what brand to buy now beside Samsung and Apple.

Apple pay Nokia a vast amount each year for patented procedures IoS incorporates
Symbian, Nokia is essentially defunct, it cannot be "coded" for touch screen which anywhere on the display can be any input, its is a step by step / menu
Windows had better security than Android, its PC s/w was adaptable
Microsoft called it Windows Mobile.
Microsoft Windows 10 even before release had many bugs that were unfixable hence its demise however the Lumia 950 was supposed to run out of the box
Microsoft Windows 8 phones that were trialled upgraded to Microsoft Windows 10 between bricking and many features apps not working was a sign
Microsoft Windows 8 was 100% stable so features intended for the Lumia 950 could have
and should have included in Microsoft Windows 8 (Lumia 950 running WP8 not WP10. but Microsoft Windows announced the Microsoft Windows 10 was the future and App developers just abandoned Windows altogether no WP8
In short when you stop selling phones that run Microsoft Windows 10 out of the box because there are immediate software issues in EVERY phone sale after 2-3 years FIXES & PATCHES, UPDATE. it was abandoned. afaik the Lumia 950 has never been able to use many of the advertised features
So like Google and Android there once was a Microsoft ecostructure
