Samsung Galaxy A56 benchmark results reveal Exynos 1580's faster CPU and new RDNA GPU

"Faster" as in clock speed, anyway, we don't actually know what the CPU cores are used in the new chipset. But we do know that it will have a next-gen GPU.

    Hope they upgrade to A715+A510. A78 was used for too long.

              Anonymous, 17 hours agoFirst of all you write that I look at benchmarks when I com... more1. Gaming is gpu heavy task, unless you benchmarks them while reducing gpu settings to minimum. Read again what I wrote, we are not comparing gpu here but cpu.

              2. Exynos 1480 is capable of 60fps+ in many games which support those fps, which show cpu is OK.

              3. That video tell nothing it's just few seconds of number how can you even know what she test?

                Same ugly and boring design.
                Same ugly and boring specs with 5-10% increase in performance from last year 100 more to totall price.
                A55 were 570 eur brand new a A55 with 256 storage were 620 eur.
                So the A56 will be 670 eur and A56 with 256GB storage will be 720 eur-

Look at the text "ARM implementer 65 architecture 8 variant 0 part 3457 revision 1" it's exactly the same as 7s gen 3. Processors with Cortex X3 cores are all "3458"

                    2021: X1, A78, A55.
                    2022: X2, A710, A510.
                    2023: X3, A715, A510v2.
                    2024: X4, A720, A520.
                    2025: X925, A725, A520v2.

                    For a 1+3+4 design as stated in the article, I think the 2023 design makes more sense from the manufacturer's and economic perspective. The X4 is too new and expensive, and the X5 (aka X925 so domb) is for flagships only.

                    Otherwise, they could still go for a 4+4 design but would probably have to resort to the latest A725 and A520-2 cores instead. It could happen. It is not likely.

                    Personally I want to see, Samsung in particular, get competitive and creative with their chipsets. So instance, make a whole class of chipsets for certain budgets.
                    $900 = 3+5 (X5+A725)
                    $600 = 1+5 (X5+A725)
                    $400 = 4+4 (A725+A525)
                    $200 = 2+8 (A725+A525)
                    ...make these in high enough quantities, and have them shipping in competitor phones from BBK Electronics.

                      The "new data" is completely at odds with what is already known, the most logical (only viable) explanation is fake

                      There is nothing to suggest that the Exynos 1580 isn't in the works. 4+4 or 1+3+4 IDK the above no actual handset were used in the above facsimile.

                      The only comparison is for me with stories is

                        Women don't wear clothing that has pockets, or the pockets are usually small. But because they bring purses and handbags, they can bring more things. Anywhere from a large phone to a small tablet is practical. For instance, a woman could have an S24U in a rugged case and a NSwitch Lite, and it would be fine.

                        Men?
                        They don't typically have that, but have pockets and usually decent ones. So carrying an S24+ in a Slim Case would be ideal. You can forget about bringing the NSwitch, at best they can bring JungleCat or JoyCons from another pocket, and have these attach to the phone. Otherwise the men would bring a large satchel or backpack. That would be more-so to bring their Laptop or SteamDeck with them, the phone would still be in-person. Maybe a Fold Device at the largest.

Also X3 at 2.9Ghz would yield a single-core score above 1500. Exynos 1x80 series has never had an X core till now, and I doubt they will be starting now.

                                      Even a 4xA720 is a decent upgrade for one generation (in mid-range). Maybe once the high-end Exynos starts using 2 or more high-performance cores, then we might see the mid-range getting one high-performance core as well.
