Anonymous, 9 hours agoDid I hear front cam with autofocus?It's still not using the JN1 as its selfie sensor though. A 32MP selfie camera does not have a good enough resolution for a flagship like this, and using it in a 32MP is nonsensical. Why can't Vivo just use the JN1, especially when their mid-range V40 series already uses it? And then, for the X200 Ultra, go a step further and use the IMX858.

And you what the LYT-900 has the imx989 doesn't thus the new sensor is still widely regarded as an upgrade.
Also it's funny to compare Samsung policy to vivo while the vivo mini can already outclass s24u camera wise.
If vivo really wanted to largen the gap they wouldn't have given it the 200mp zoom lens.vivo even said there's some hardware improvement in the tele lens compared to the ultra
Also now it's still not worth it to spend more for the ultra lol, especially that the x200p is literally a better phone, better soc battery design and more modern display .
Comparing vivo to Samsung and apple is madness

Stop spreading lies. First , it is not physical capable of. It does not have dual layer tech nor WRGB CFA to increase light intake. It this was possible, then vivo would not wasting money to again have 1" inside ultra but would use this one to save money and inner space.
Samples posted here are proof it can't match x100 ultra. Corners have very mushed textures ( trees on right portion).
If it still had 1", difference between Pro and Ultra would be too small.
Basically screen res and SoC. Not enough to go for Ultra at extra price.
Vivo is just doing what other do. Larger gap between devices of premium segment.
Same reason samsung S+ does not get isocell HP series nor periscope ( not even a 90mm for example). To keep it way below Ultra
