Tablets should have thick bezels because unlike phones people usually hold their tablets with their two hands. If they have thin bezels, your thumbs may cover the edges of the screen. Most Android tablets have comparable bezel thickness. Have you ever used a tablet?

                            Well, this is great for people who want something for notetaking. BUT, $500 for a notetaking device? Oh, and that's before counting in the pencil for another $100?
                            The base Samsung Tab S9 FE is almost half the price in many places, with the stylus included and more than enough performance. Apple should launch something that competes with that, just include a laminated display. They always find a way to screw over their products for most people with really simple basic needs. Who needs an ultra high-end chip in an 8" tablet with a 60 hz display? At least make it 90 and include even a basic stylus.

                                        I had the previous model, 2021 for short time, before I sold it.
                                        It was too big to hold it like I hold my iPhones, and too small to view content on it. Also it has IPS display. No matter how good the Apple IPS displays are (and they are good), Oled display are still better for watching content. In many times I just ended up watching videos/movies on my iPhones (Max variants).
                                        The only thing I use it for, was for Apple Arcade games. Because with two hands it was easier to clutch than something like iPad Air/Pro and also you see relatively more content than on iPhone.

                                        But, to pay 500EUR for a device, just to play Apple Arcade games (which by the way, they become really bad lately, just mobile games without ads and in app purchases, nothing original anymore), was not worth it for me.
                                        Is better to buy something like Nintendo Switch or Steam Deck, for portable gaming. And the games are a lot better than anything Apple Arcade is offering now.

                                        But, this was my use case scenario. Maybe some other people can find an actual use for this iPad Mini. I couldn't.
