Anonymous, 20 Oct 2024I will use it for the rest of my life. I am a keeper. I am ... moreLol. 🤣

    6 years of updates what a bull**it???
Samsung should give a 6 years of warranty for whole device too.
If they believes te phone will last this long they could give equal warranty-
All OEMS and Phone manufacturer companies should and could give years of warranty equal to years of supported updates.
If not its only E-Waste and a marketing gimmick.

Azu10157, 20 Oct 2024Still unbelievable that they removed the 3.5mm jack. Removing useless ancient technology is good.
You can use USB-C earphones or wireless ones.
If you dont want to stick to modern age buy your self a battery powered radio.

So GSM arena tries to push this samsung phone?
Its a bit this of that.
This maybe a bit of that.
But is a good phone and the recommended it.

        Marketing BS.

I'm sure it will like like most phones from half decade... it's all just how people can resist the tempt to upgrade the phone...but it's not worth it for me I could buy other better deal phones with better specs...

what a biased conclusion. good luck keeping that 4gb relic

              "...some people think..."
              Is a rarity these days

Still unbelievable that they removed the 3.5mm jack.

phone can be passed to other people in family or friends after couple of years or keep it as backup phone for emergency.

if they also provide extended warranty for fully trade-in with no question asked. this will be a leap forward thinking to get trust from buyer and less e-waste too.

Well, who knows, it all boils down to the user... I know people who use six year old phones that weren't powerhouses even back then.
Still, 4GB of memory is a bit of a stretch today even for the average person.

Wow. My older brother still rocks his a20 also.
What i find is that my a12 is much slower and stutters than his a20 despite its more powerful and advanced nm, it lags behind possibly because of the storage reading.

If one uses the phone very causally, with the battery lasting more than 36 hours, it may last that much. And with taking care.
But when I saw that this phone got six years of software updates, I wondered why the A5 series only got four!

Hey. Samsung phones have very long lifespan to their Flagship and budgets phones. I have Galaxy A12 which is going to be 4 years old
.it still running great its not smooth but still functions well.

I expect my midranger A50 to survive until it reaches 6 years of age, maybe not in the best condition, yet it is still going good. But if it were an A10 instead of an A50, it could never do so.

Similarly, I doubt an entry level Samsung could ever survive that long. Any A series phones below A3x usually start to lag and stutter before they even hit the 1 year mark. 6 is a BIG scretch.

Everybody will buy a new phone after 3 years anyway. Be it a flagship or a midranger or a lowrider.
