why are these phones China only? I want one but North America never gets these. why? we are forever stuck with boring apple and samsung. :(

Anonymous, 19 Oct 2024We don't know the price difference between d9300 and d... morethey removed the 1 incher of the x200 pro and have added no proper additions to the base x200. highly unlikely that only the chip increased the price so much. It's just Vivo trying to get profits that's all.

This alone could easily be $30, $40 or $50 ..

jiyen235, 19 Oct 2024a 300 CNY increase of the base model and a 500 CNY increase... moreThat's marketing. The X100 Ultra was a big hit for Vivo. Now they are hyped and try to sell more and bump the price! Of course you are right tho.

Hopefully they will release in Europe next year! Looks like a nice upgrade for my Oppo Find X5!

jiyen235, 19 Oct 2024a 300 CNY increase of the base model and a 500 CNY increase... moreI agree. The x200 is almost the same as last year apart from the processor. Same V2 isp. Almost the same camera hardware. Just a bigger battery really and of course the latest processor. All the brands are going to increase prices by a similar amount i think though. That's what all the reviewers are basically saying. Either that or they make a lot of cuts in hardware. Don't like the way they didn't offer 12gb 512gb model for the pro or pro mini. The price jump from 12gb 256gb to 16gb 512gb is very large. That's another sneaky way of increasing profits. A 12gb 512gb in the pro mini and pro models would have been nice. Had a look at all of them today. My first impression was that the main camera on the x200 pro mini wasn't as good as the x200 pro despite using the same sensor and the video stabilization wasn't as good as on the x200 for some reason. The image processing though is definitely more natural on the x200 pro mini compared to the x200. It's a bit softer. The x200 is a bit over sharpened I think. Of the three though the x200 feels the nicest in hand

a 300 CNY increase of the base model and a 500 CNY increase for the 16/1 TB model of the X200 Pro and a 300 CNY increase for the base model and a 400 CNY increase for the 16/1TB version of base X200.

Interesting pricing changes, i don't think these phones are enough of an upgrade to warrant the increase in price at all. The X200 Pro lost the 1 incher and the X200 didn't get any huge upgrades. The base X200 is listed as having a USB 2.0 transfer rate. Why the price hike then?

Better selfie cams, 1 incher for the X200 Pro and a 1/1.28" OR 1/1.12" main sensor for the X200 and a better UW cam like the one on the X100 Ultra would've made the price hikes worth it. These phones have neither. I love Vivo but I can't defend weird practices like this, it's not even like they're using the 8 gen 4, then the price hike would've been understandable. Weird stuff. Just battery/screen changes shouldn't equal to a price hike, at least on the base X200.

                In short, L move.
