      Wish these games had a resolution slider so people could up the resolution if they wanted, and an fps slider as well so someone can just bump the fps to 120 if they wanted to lol, even if the phone is not capable, options are always welcome.

They just buy flagship phones to flex.

            S24 Ultra with SD 8 Gen 3 is already excellent, but S25 Ultra is shaping up to be a powerhouse. If all of this is true of course.

                    I use a 888processor which is buueprint of Optimus Prime SOC. Same as M chips 3rd gen won't have significant boost, also the binning data is so fragmented that I believe they were able to extract very few of these.

                      Enchantres, 22 Oct 2024Highly unlikely, since there is no efficiency core and that... moreThis will undoubtedly run much cooler than 8g2 at the same performance level, because in terms of power efficiency, it completely wipes its ass with 8g3 which was already more efficient than 8g2 to start with.

                      8g3 consumed 11W of power at its peak, whereas 8E only needs to consume 6W to squeeze out the same level of performance. Pretty impressive I would say.

                        This constant renaming is a bit weird. Why can't they just stick to calling it 8 gen 4 ?

                        What the successor will be called then ? 8 Elite gen 2 ? or 8 eliter ?

                              Qualcomm said this about their laptops chip as well...and they were lying by 20%
                              So, this is irrelevant, just money laundry if in the device cannot do this or close to this

And for those who do require such power, you're better off just using a PC or a proper workstation.
                                  Even demanding games don't require the full power a mobile chipset is capable of. The Dimensity 9400 for example was proven to be faster and more efficient in gaming than anything we've had so far, and apparently the same applies with this processor, which it is even better by the looks of it. 9400 also had good temperature management too, but that is a bit more depending on the OEM cooling solution.

                                  In the Android world, I think we just had a major leap this year when it comes to performance and efficiency for those two flagship chipsets. Great stuff.
