      What does Apple expect when they release basically the same phone as the iPhone 12 for the 5th time? Only the cameras, USB-C port and SiPs have really changed. The display, battery capacity, size, weight, materials, ingress protection and charging speed have all largely stayed the same this decade for the base model iPhone.

      Long gone are the days when every couple years you could expect a revolutionary new device to replace your old one, and as a result people are keeping their phones longer. The formerly expected 2-year upgrade cycle died years ago, and the 3-year upgrade cycle is turning into a 4-year one. Sure, there will always be well-heeled Pro buyers getting the latest and greatest every year, but everyone else will just install the latest iOS update, maybe replace the battery and wait another year or two, or three.

        And this affects me how

        My lack of boo hoo hoo is that the figures are quarterly maybe from an all time high idk and care even less.

        Same story, year in year out, poor sales then record sales
        If Apple were really worried they would cutting prices, or adding incentives / inducements, etc.
        Neither so moving on

Why not just buy a Pro? Even the average person isn't getting fooled by Apple lmao

                They should just scrap the non-Pro models. Release the Pro and Pro Max, and have the SE as the basic model.

                    Finally, the downfall and realisation the apple have been taking everyone for a ride. I'm an android user, but understand the real impact apple made with their first few iterations, but realistically the last 9-10 models have been nothing but a cash-cow and lies for its wanna be fashionista type consumers. The phone landscape has drastically changed, with the vastly improved and leading other manufacturers, offering mid-tier phones that compare to apples "premium" at a fraction of the price....it's all in a name.

                      The iPhone 16 in Indonesia cannot be bought and sold because our government has made it illegal.
