ua82, 8 hours agoBoth do release mid range / low range chips but phone manuf... moreso it is sht then .. no any better..

Hanif Fikri, 8 hours agoBruh it's for new buyers not you decided who should buy...It is my decision to post opinion so stfk..

Need to add 1h throttling test.

Hope someone makes a wattage to performance graph soon. These new SiC batteries are real nice and if the the chips are significantly better with efficiency then these new generation of flagship phones would be a great upgrade of those who haven't in 3 or more years especially from a midrange or budget phone.

ua82, 8 hours agoOppo X8 Pro coming in more than the OnePlus 13 using SD8 elite This is not an apples to apples comparison, though.

The Find X8 Pro has an extra camera module (the 135mm periscope telephoto) and satellite connectivity.

This will skew the price difference (800CNY = 112 USD).

Anonymous, 8 hours agoBut somehow people here think using one over the second wou... moreIt seems the chipset basically is making no significant difference to the actual price at all. Xiaomi 15 and Oneplus 13 are only 200rmb more than the Vivo x200. Last year the gap was 300rmb so it has narrowed. The Xiaomi 15 and Oneplus 13 offer better specs too than the likes of the Vivo x200 and Find x8. People can basically choose which phone they like. They are not going to get any real price advantage for choosing the dimensity 9400 phones at present though. Maybe when the Iqoo neo 10 pro comes but that's not a flagship

Oh wow! Can't wait for Mediatek flagships!
They did what Samsung & Exynos couldn't do all these years.

At the end of the day, doubt there will be any real world difference in performance.
Also given the launches so far, the price of the devices using these chips are in same range as well.

What's important now is which one is more efficient, consumes less power, and stays cool. A few more days and we should have the answer.

Anonymous, 9 hours agoI am interested in battery life and thermal efficiencyIt's pretty good on One Plus 13 and Realme GT 7 Pro if you have e stronger router. My country doesn't have proper SA network so can't test it on 5G. I haven't tested on iQOO 13.

Both phones do get warm but it gets cooler faster as well.

                                      Remember

The dimensity is clocked at 3.63GHz

And is only bested in peak cpu benchmarks, with a slightly stronger gpu + it's cheaper

But is equal in real world use

But smartphone owners aren't really interested in cpu or gpu performance only little kids or boys especially, which doesn't really do any benefit to scrolling on the phone.. Smartphone isn't an pc ... We really need more features rather than marketingly naming chipsets and little bit bumping clocks.. Weird thing is that chipset manufacturers release these chips and buyers will cripple them or disable features.. What is the point ?
