The Pixel 9 Pro is much cheaper to make than the iPhone 16 Pro

The phones are priced the same, however.

The Pixel 9 Pro's Telephoto and UW cams are better, the telephoto is a larger and higher res sensor and the UW cam has a wider aperture.

I think Samsung sensors are just super duper cheap??

Whatever the case, it's crazy how even tho the Pixel 9 Pro is cheaper the price is the same, the chipset is far inferior, the speakers are inferior and the vibration motors aren't on the same level either. You're literally paying more for less. I love Pixel fanboys because they're stupider than Samsung's ones.

As a result they can just stick to one firm and then get their job done there. For example all the rear cam sensors are samsung ones, which are far cheaper than sony's ones, the display is only from samsung and so on.

Apple uses Sony sensors and they are usually better quality and are more expensive too. Additionally Apple uses multiple different display manufacturers so economies of scale isn't that great there even though they have far higher sales/demand. Oh and Apple's speakers and vibration motors are far superior.

Further, in DXOMark display tests, although 9 Pro hasn't been tested yet, Pixel 9 Pro Max scores 158 and Pixel 9 scores 156, while iphone 16 pro scores only 150.

Regarding efficiency, I haven't found any tests, but both panels being LTPO, I don't think it would be much different. If you have any tests that compare the efficiency of displays, please do share.

The pixel's sole raison d'être is its capacity to process images better than the competition in most scenarios while offering 7 years of software support and some sprinkles of AI features that not everyone cares about or would find hard to replace with online tools. This makes the Pixel line a phone with many compromises. You're making these compromises to stay in Android land and get two of the main perks of having an iPhone (Good camera + long software support). However, you're losing on amazing performance, great video recording (iPhone is the undisputed champ here), and more premium build quality (if you care about that). Not only that but iPhones also hold their aftersale value much better compared to almost all Android devices, and the Pixel is one of the worst here. So it comes down to how much you hate iOS vs how much you're willing to compromise to stay with Android. This is the dilemma I'm going through right now trying to decide between an older Pixel for a cheaper price, and the newer iPhone 16 pro.

These are not official statements and can't even be traked down, yet all this "experts" here in the comment section take it for true and argue about how bad pixel is in comparison to iphlone. I mean, android is definetly a better system in every way imaginable, while the company ethics and politics are probably as bad as the ones in crapple, so yeah, if you need a phone, don't support greedy companies and try the "freelancers" like fairphone or shiftphone.

And titanium body? More like aluminium body with some titanium here and there that is worthy of about 2 to 3 dollars. Just because they call it titanium, doesn't mean it is the whole body. Pretty much like their "safire" glass that is actually tempered glass that scratches exactly like any other gorilla glass.... Take a better look at jerryrigeverything about the "titanium" body of the iphone and their "safire" glass...
