      Sad news, but happy and laugh at same time..
      Expected exoshyte fab catch up. Now tslc monopoly..
      It'd be good cheap alternatives to QC, but no competitor.
      Laughing though, zamzung always pretending year after year their exoshyte outperform, and never did except in virtual cheaty benchmarks....
      Grown up in 80's where tech was passionate and revolutionary. It turns out to be pure speculating greed now , still a bit interesting , but for now long...

        No one prohibits these tech giants from operating in China - PRC. They don't operate in China because they don't want to comply with the law in China - PRC

        On the other hand, the PRC government can enact laws to keep everything under its control, and no objections are permitted.

        We also cannot deny that the PRC authorities prohibit people from using these services in the country due to censorship without transparency.

        Such practice will never contribute to growth in science and technology, even in other respects.

I might have seen too many SF movies but it's a fact in life that relying on one horse is the worse you can do so don't believe me (I don't expect anyone to) but history has told many times otherwise. An yes, China is as reliable as the devil (some other countries as well).

                  We need to see the Exynos full potential.

                  BTW,
                  One of the best Qualcom SOC that were made in Samsung 4nm is Snapdragon 4 Gen 2
                  2x Cortex-A78 (2.2 GHz) + 6x Cortex-A55 (2.0 GHz)

                  So,
                  Samsung fab is not a total lost.
                  They could still make a 2.2GHz 4nm chip that use little electricity

                    Trying to make new ultrapowerfull gadgets on old machines is like to put motor from Buggati Veyron into a Trabant, Volga or Vartburg. This will never works.

Some snapdragon chips were fabricated by Samsung and had similar performance and heating issues to those of Exynos. (Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 8 gen 1).
                      TSMC fabbed Snapdragons were much better.

                      If Exynos chips were also fabbed by TSMC and not Samsung, even they could see a major uplift in performance and battery efficiency.
                      This is the same reason why people are excited about Google Tensor G5 as it will be fabbed by TSMC.

                            thus, they don't have semiconductor factory anymore

                              Soon or later Huawei will skip over TSMC in other words they will do better, faster and more stable and reliable chipsets.
                              US can go nuts.
                              Many other companies will go to Huawei for having a best CPU in their cell phones.

                                I know the competition is good usually to reduce the prices but anyone here wants exynos anywhere???

The Taiwanese created TSMC, not the Americans. TSMC may use some American technology but it shouldn't give America any control over who TSMC sells to. America does not have a chip fab that is superior to TSMC. If Americans had any say, their best chip fab would not be located in an island off the coast of China but in America itself.
