See how gamer phones like Redmagic and Rog continue using the jack. A non-delayed audio on a peripheral that needs no charging is essential on competitive games and those two know that.
And most users are now stuck with wireless buds that are either overpriced or are affordable but can't last long enough on a charge or lifetime durability. People deserve what they tolerate.

Are you seriously comparing an entry level Oppo or Vivo against an IPhone and then proclaim Iphone is far better? LMAO

[deleted post]China can't play nice? What does It even mean according to you? Chinese companies should overprice their products so western ones are more competitive? Why would or should they do that?
It's not the fault of China or any other Asian country that West is too costly to produce anything in It. Globalization was good only when western countries profited, when the tables are turning then it's no longer cool.

Literally everyone i see has a ear buds even it's those painfully mediocre ear killing $5 ones. Very few care about headphone jack unfortunately. If you think, a headphone jack and sd card slot can solve their problem, you're wrong then

As a OnePlus customer I... moreHere's the context:
Majority of OnePlus users are tech savvy people. If they have problem, they will post in OP community. But if there's no problem, most likely you won't hear their opinion on the websites.
On the other hand, majority of Oppo and Vivo users don't really care about specs, as long as it works. But even if there's a problem, most are not tech savvy or don't bother to post in community sites.
There's your dose of real life situation.

BBK has almost 50% of the market from 10K to 160K INR with many phones in the mid range segment.
Samsung had a good brand value but no options under 30K. A series hasnt caught on with Exynos being a question mark.
Last good Ax was the A52s. A55 looks good but you can get a 8 Gen 2 Iqoo for the same price.......

Not a shocker right. Samsung phones dont match well either with flagships or with budget/mid range. Vivo/Oppo are dominating low end/midrange along with Redmi/Realme. At flagship level most go for iphones or ones going for camera phone will go for Vivo or 14 ultra kind of phone. Samsung needs to innovate to get back in the game and I dont think that is their focus.
One Plus is the other OEM whose phones have gotten expensive without providing the same value. Plus all issues with recent phones.

Vivo will displace Samsung from this and part of Europe, in fact it already does! Not because Samsung is a bad brand, but because of how greedy they became and the worst thing, they think they are the apple of android

[deleted post]The article isn't even about a Western market. It's about the India market, which the 2nd largest and most competitive smartphone market. The US market is the worst market for smartphone consumers and about to get even worse because of orange face and his protectionism. The EU market doesn't engage in as much protectionism as the US. Samsung is an Eastern brand, not West. If the West only permitted Western brands being sold, everyone in the West would only be using iPhones and Pixels. You have any proof that any of the Chinese smartphone brands are state funded? Or did you just make that up?
