Asus ROG Phone 9 and 9 Pro arrive with SD 8 Elite, bigger batteries and better cooling

The AniMe Vision display on the back can now actually work as a display that lets you play games.

Shameful. Give it a:
•Main camera — Sony LYT-808
•Ultrawide — Sony IMX858; macro capabilities
•Periscope telephoto — Sony IMX858; macro capabilities
•Selfie — Samsung ISOCELL JN5; change focal length to 26mm

The non-Pro should simply drop the periscope telephoto and not get anything in its place. Also, the Pro one's battery should be a 6,500mAh Si/C battery instead; and both phones should get at least 4 years of OS and security updates.

For anybody wondering, 300 euro price hike but still only 2 OS updates like with ROG 8.

Asus, even Sony realised that is too little at that price, and that says a lot from how Sony is.

"As usual, the Asus ROG series excels when it comes to first-party accessories."

        In some regions

Funny enough, Asus always sold their ROG phones here officially at their online store, but even via carriers.

Yet never they sold ANY of the accessories, not even the cases.

A shame they're sticking with the camera cutout that they brought back last year. Otherwise I would have strongly considered this.
