I like Sony's software in general, it works fine.
With this update, unfortunately, the (only) bug I've had issues with was the audio desync and when fading in/out (changing audio source for example spotify to youtube) the audio mutes for a second and comes back again instead of a natural fade

Tip: when update doesn't come one can use Xperia Companion application. Beware: this procedure will reset all your data. So make backup first.

Anonymous, 20 Nov 2024Turn on HDR. It is not default setting like other brands. Does help but Sony's exposure is way too unstable it tends to blow out much of the time even with hdr enabled it's just a constancy issue easily fixable

People should remember that smartphones promises how long they'll get software updates. They never said when they'll receive it. Getting updates fast doesn't mean it's a better products, unless you're Apple. It's fine how long you'll get it as long as you are guarantee to get it. People should stop comparing about who's software updates the fastest. This isnt a pp measuring contest.
