Anonymous, 20 Nov 2024Prepare to be underwhelmed, lol.You are acting like Sony Xperia rumour are the most stable leak in the smartphone realm in terms of confirmed specs when it's the one of the most unstable one. It always changed every time as I always watched them. Xperia leaks ain't Google Pixel leaks either deliberately or accidentally, Chinese brands phone constant teases that confirmed certain specs at a time. You need to wait the real deal the week it will be announce at best. So me, as Sony Xperia users for 13 years from Live with Walkman WT19i to Xperia 1 II, even don't know what Mark VII will ended up on their final specs.

Anonymous, 20 Nov 2024Prepare to be underwhelmed, lol.Even with 4000mAh it would still last more than chinese phones with 6500.

Darth Caesium, 20 Nov 2024That's fair. I just find Sony's schedule hilariou... moreWell, I mean, Sony themselves already told GSMArena when 1 VI review and unveil were published here that the Android 15 update will release in Autumn timeframe, so they did delivered their promise, even if sound "late" by even enthusiast standard. Because Sony used to be so late with update before it changed very much in Android 7 Nougat update with Xperia X Performance and XZ. Just an additional info, October is their fastest month to deliver update and that was during Xperia XZ Premium and XZ2 series era. So October to December timeframe is their average update timeframe, hence just what they had told us. Sure, they could done better on frequency and rapidness but hey, they didn't broken promises on updating their devices since 2019. Sony UK have the list about it.

I wonder that GSMArena hasn't given any update about Xperia in a while and more focused about others, that once the Xperia news happened again here, people here bursted their frustrations and hatred for Xperia here at once. And then started to calm down again when there is none lol. Just a thought

Darth Caesium, 20 Nov 2024Took them long enough. It is inline with the month of November that the Mark V (except 5 V) received Android 14 and Mark IV received Android 13 (except 10 IV) update though. The only time they were late was the Android 12 updates so far for all number series Xperia since 2019. Video Pro re-insertion to the 1 VI also factored on late November release instead early November.

Bravosixgoingdark, 20 Nov 2024So promised video pro controls ?The Video Pro feature has returned in Android 15 update. More simplified one but the core content features remains the same as Video Pro found in Xperia Mark V
