Motorola has had an impressive quarter, though.

Looks like their worldwide market share is holding just fine.

Note7 owner, 22 Nov 2024No surprise here, even Huawei's owners use iPhones. Well, they were forced out of the US, I'd love to see apple getting forced out of the world in the same manner. Huawei would've overtaken apple long ago and that's why they did it, apart of the paranoid espionage concerns.. (just goes to show they're probably doing it aswell and maybe even way before)

      damn Motorola is 3rd

      who knew...

even more of a surprise is HMD made it to the pie-chart but OnePlus didn't. I guess it has to do something with the contracts (AT&T, Verizon etc.)

Apple is selfish, if they monopolize the smartphone trade, it is said because they are innovative. When other brands beat Apple, they are called spies, whatever. The point is that Apple products must not be bad. Brands that only sell logos at high prices, innovations are just like that. For example, in Asia, the price of an iPhone can be equal to the price of a flagship laptop, seriously Apple????
And Apple doesn't like business competition, if everyone can, they must use Apple products. When talking about security, many have better security but it's as if Apple is the god of security.

Who would have thought Samsung's strategy of copying Apple with minor design changes each year has not improved their market share. S23 and S24 buyers prefer their $1000+ phones not looking similar to the $200 phones.

its no suprise when the a35, s23 fe suck, s24 is way too expensive, moto edge plus 2023 and the thinkphone, moto just have better budget offerings, hmd is a just a joke at this point.

stupid Samsung losing market share. S series is a joke no innovation and they refuse to launch A5 series in US. As a s24u user, it's good to see Samsung struggling. They need to innovate
