Anonymous, 01 Nov 2008Err consumer satisfaction? lol are you kidding if they don... moreDid I say that Motorola won't sell anything? Of course it will, but only of limited quantities and they need to cut costs for the intensive research and development needed to create new phones in the future.

I really hope Motorola surprises us. I've always been a fan regardless of the countless anti-Motorola people out there.
I hate Samsungs! Especially the one I have to use right now!

                I smell fanboyism everywhere.

But no matter,I think Motorola's strategy will be its riskiest one yet. It's a shame that they will throw away its best OS yet, the open-source MotoMagx software. It is very fast, stable and capable. Motorola must reconsider its move before it's too late.

Regarding WinMo and Android, I hope Motorola really pulls this one off successfully as it will make or break the whole company. People must not lose hope to this mobile giant, for it still has many things to offer. Sure, it will not be as famous as Nokia, Samsung, etc. But who cares about market share anyway? It's the consumer satisfaction that counts.

moto get better. i, at least, hope. letting motomagx go is just a huge mistake in my opinion. ok, they should work on the 3G point and try to make it an open source os (i don't know if it's possible) and some native software. winmo is not as great as symbian. let's hope that android phones become great.

It´s a shame that Moto drops MotoMagx to build new windows mobile devices....Well at least ia has always the stamp of Windows, but i liked the fact that Moto really bet on open sources, and actually Linux OS, was really one of the fast software in the market...And people disn´t realize, i guess it just pass too quietly from the crowd.....Bad advertisment is one of the main reasons....

Ok, if they dropped they really shoud focus, on building a new user friendly software, so that people don´t say things like" it´s a moto it´s way too complicated for me, nokia is simple..." If nokia managed to do this with 40series software, Moto should someting like this, otherwise is just thrown money to the garbage.....
Really a shame the end of Linux OS sistems.....

i can see nokia loosing lots of ground if they dont sort out the symbian signed issues. Can't wait for a good android phone, the htc g1 has a rubish spec. i bet it will be samsung that lead the way with android.

I think Moto should merge Motomagix and Synergy for mid to low-end devices and give us an option of two OS's for high-end, ie, WinMo and Android. I also think Motomagix is a good UI and should be given a chance to develop as a lot of us are getting used to the V8 and Z6. They should just work on its compatability with 3G and that will it.
