Very disappointed UWB is excluded from the base model, especially given that the radio stack in the device appears to support it.

These grifters keep on milking naive users who trust brands. So sad to see so many people falling for these predatory schemes by Samsung amd the likes. They literally do nothing to improve their phones for years now.

So try Gcam.

I suggest passing S25 for sure.
S24 user here (Exynos 8/256). Big mistake buying it, mostly due to iPhone bar design (stupid sharp corners, ergonomic ruined) and utterly terrible camera quality experience.
Washed out colours, overexposed final image, video suffering from skin tones burned out. Performance is epic, battery life cool, updates timely...but it's not enough for me.
Next phone will not be Apple/Samsung for sure!

Anonymous, 28 Nov 2024It was meant to compete against mid-rangers from other OEMs... moreI wish X8 was that cheap here too, it is 1200 euro here.
That's more than S24U is here now sadly.

Seems out of the two korean companies LG knows better how to make home appliances and sell parts for them.
Btw I rather have a Miele washing machine, so I got that eons ago.

The S serie is getting worse every year, when the other brands are making big progress in battery density, charging time, camera, design, screen...etc. . Same problem with their chip business. Samsung is going down just like Nokia in its time, who was seen as too big to fail. But hey, they still make nice washing machines ;-)

Yes, 28 Nov 2024Samsung in on a suicidal mission it may seem !!!Yeap. They have terrible offers for S24 series ...and doesn't look like they will change something for holidays (hope I'm proven wrong).. which means they won't sell much more from S24 and in January s25 comes with higher prices.. terrible. Disaster even

All they did was position-switch the powerful but incompetent people around the company, and the result will still be the same because it was led by the same dolt of a supreme leader.

I'm worried about Samsung. Their decisions are getting worse and worse every year. Are they being sabotaged? The UI changing for the worse, the wearables turning into Apple copycats, the flagship phones losing features generation after generation, none of this makes sense without malicious plants inside.

The Android Freak, 28 Nov 2024Not possible even in wildest dreams. All the vanilla S models have been 16x gr.
Other flagships used to be lightweight too and now many are 200-220gr. It's a devolution, regression in my mind. I don't care about stainless steel frames or exotic materials. Stick with plastic and aluminum.

Anonymous, 28 Nov 2024And SD 8 Gen 2 has wifi 7 support, and S23 phones do not.
... moreS23U has it, rest two doesn't. That time Wifi 7 wasn't mainstream. Do you have Wifi 7 router and 5Gig connection?
One Plus 11 has it, One Plus 12 has it. Moto Edge+(2023) has it.
