The Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro proved quite a bit more popular than its vanilla sibling, but even it is going to struggle to find an audience.

Sadly that seems the case in many places, including the country I'm living in. That's why midranger performance-centric device like the iQOO Z9, Infinix GT 20 Pro, and Poco F6 solds pretty well here.
Ironically, those "flagship" gaming devices like the one from ROG and Redmagic didn't sold pretty well here, even though ROG Phone's price here is farrrrrrrrrrr cheaper than the one on Europe and North America. The iQOO one (like the iQOO 11 and 12) might be the only "flagship" that sold pretty well, maybe even more popular than the base Samsung S24 here.

If it wasn't already clear enough from my previous comments I think of gaming on a phone and emulating on it as a side activity to extend your gaming on the go. Like I really hope the guy I was suggesting emulation to doesn't want pc games to be on mobile so his phone is his primary gaming device.

He's talking about running Windows app on an Android, and I'm just suggesting the opposite. Am I wrong?
        And this is just my suggestion just in case you don't have a gaming laptop/PC. If you already got one, go ahead, but keep in mind that those phones' camera is usually not as good as the allrounder one, with the same pricing.

              - Has a built-in cooling fan
              - Flat design front/back, no camera bump
              - UDC unterrupted display (now captures decent photos too)
              - Big battery + sweatproof glass shoulder triggers

              There's more lol ROG phones are an overall thrash and you all are just paying for the brand name lol

                For this price and if you have a $1000+ budget, simply opt for a well rounded flagship like the S2x Ultra or an iPhone instead of getting this awkward overpriced motherboard dead prone ROG phone 9 series lol.

                Or for half the price, get the RedMagic 10Pro series. Price to performance ratio wise, design wise, new technology RM10Pro has, 1.5k + UDC + 144Hz Display, gaming feature + console mode, built-in cooling wise, it really kills the ROG Phone 9 series in any way.

                  I 100% agree with two points: the punchhole and the loss of the forward facing dual speakers was a hugely stupid regression of unique Asus Rog Phone features.

                                  Not all the target market users want to be viewed as a kid or a "gamer" ever time you pull out your phone.

                                  What looks cool to a gamer today is SUPER fickle to the aame next year!

                                  Sleeper is this and the 8 Pro's asthetic n purpose of their design.

                                      Looking for the best gaming phone, ROG 9 Pro is indeed expensive. But the ROG 9 is a battery downgrade over the 9 Pro.

                                      Thankfully, Redmagic 10 series gets bigger battery capacity, 6500mAh in the Pro version, and 7050mAh in the Pro+ version. It is easy to import these, and saves a lot of your budget.
