That's very sad to hear. And in fact they dont really need to do this...I believe they should just wait some more and have faith in their new products. The only thing I would suggest blackberry is to firstly keep competitive pricing. Cause currently with BB 10 they've fixed most of their earlier problems. I always loved their approach to smart phones and they shouldnt change their soul. I can promise as long as BB is making Q10 like products.. I am going to buy them!!! Pleeease BB dont lose faith in yourself! I am sure, grown ups will always buy blackberrys and not android gimmicks!. This is the only company which makes really meaningful stuff but because of bad taste of the mob, this company is on the verge of fall... I wish BB a long and prosperous future!! Best luck. I do not see anyone buying BB..
Samsung:... nah... Impossible, samsung is pretty much dependent in android.. developing something using BB OS is a no-no..
Apple:... maybe,.. For innovation. if they want innovation. maybe it is a good idea to have BB on their side. which is known for some cool ideas before.
Nokia... nah... nokia is still recovering... but if they weren't... still no. because of WP8 or should I say Elop..
Sony... nah... no use for them
LG... nah.... no use for them

unfortunately, it looks like BB might be going the way of Palm... Either hop on the android train or get out of the way seems to be the idea.

Take a break guys . Nokia is too innovative to die any time soon. Unique designs , top notch cameras, exclusive apps and services , patents, and not to mention their reputation in the masses . Even today in India an average customer who visits a store asks for a nokia device first. I have seen so many people who used android phones for years still ended up owning lumia 520 . I too did the same . I have a galaxy , a htc and a lumia .

Am I the only one who notices that it is an app issue! Other OS have thousands of apps that people can actually use. The apps available for BB are either useless or uninteresting for customers. Come on BB, wake up and at least smell the coffee!!

they dont need to give up the bb os only they need i a affordable bb phone and they need to give up they qwerty phones or if not make them siding and big scree 4.3 retina is ok and they need a good partnership to help on their need sony or samsung because sony is good on making games and apps like on their phones.or samsung.... black berry you need sony or samsung to help on your needs but plsss dont give up.... it is just a test for your company :)

I don't mind Nokia purchasing Blackberry as a whole. After all, I wonder what would it look like to have a pone, that is a Hybrid of Symbian + MeeGo + BB. :D
The least I could think of is either Apple or Google purchasing them.

BlackBerry hardware is of really high quality but their proprietary ecosystem makes those handsets too expensive to build - only Apple succeeds to make a profit this way, and that requires a highly dedicated dictator in charge. Only a handful of users find the mandatory BlackBerry network necessary. BB neeeds to go Android for consumer market and leave their BBN for business professionals only - otherwise they'll just repeat the fate of the Titanic and have only themselves to blame. Even Nokia gave up on Symbian. Open your eyes BB!

Do you believe most people search on the item they buy before they buy it? Of course not. There are more android phones out there then IOS, W8, etc. Plus there much cheaper. There's no freedom using IOS it's like being locked in a cell cause of all the dumb restrictions it has.

Why r ppl laughing at BB's downfall just because u use a different brand or OS? There r lot more to it than that ppl will be out of jobs thousands of ppl. I am using android 4.2.1 and it doesn't feel better than OS10 its just the apps that's keeping android. There was a time when blackberry didn't have any competition but now they've lost android might just go down that same road so don't laugh just yet
