Samsung Galaxy S25+ once again pops up on Geekbench with an Exynos chip

There were rumors Samsung would go all in with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for the Galaxy S25 trio.

P C M, 08 Dec 2024Going over 8000 for early benchmark isn't bad at all. Checking Geekbench database, it has been scoring around 8000 in November: https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/8663548 , so no improvement one month later, it's just an inferior chip as usual.
Even the Snapdragon variant was scoring around 9000 in September(one month before SD 8 Elite announcement).

By 2028, 5G will be superb and every Chinese phone will have extra ordinary camera and they will be leading the industry. By 2028, sub-6Ghz spectrum on 5G will have 300-400Mhz bandwidth for 5G, so no issues on that front as well as Chinese phones doesn't have mmwave incorporated in it.

Pixel and One Plus software has became so great, that it can match One UI now. No need to use Samsung, atleast at launch.

                        Zamzung is over for me. I'll have to go chinophone unfortunately (I can't stand iOS after multiple try).

                        Exoshyte laggy toaster is ok if cheap but at the price of a flagship of 1000 or so, you'd be really, really foolled.

                        Will keep my s23 as long as I can, battery still great after 2 years.

Samsung should stick wi... moreTend to agree with you, and my next phone will unlikely be another Samsung but as far as android is concerned I think one UI is the best out there which just makes it all the most frustrating as their hardware is now sub par and their cost cutting with unmoved pricing and in some cases has increased. Along with their blatent moves to become iPhones/ iOS with be their undoing.. same reason I moved out of iOS..was starting to feel like I was getting bent over, royally.

Samsung should stick with snapdragon globally atleast for Plus and Ultra models. And maybe Dimensity for small S series phone. For A series, they should use Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2/7+ Gen 3 series chipsets. For FE series, they should use 8s Gen 3 or year old chipsets, I don't mind. Otherwise, scrap FE series completely. Give camera set up of FE series to A5* series. Samsung will do well in next three years. Also, Samsung needs to price their devices aggressively. S24U at 1299-1499 doesn't make sense. S25U should launch at 1099 for 512GB, only one model.

                                        P C M, 06 Dec 2024These early benchmarks look pretty good tbh. It's inferior to both Snapdragon 8 Elite and Dimensity 9400, we don't even know about it's efficiency and modem stability, it's not looking good.
