Hoping for 8GB RAM this time!

DarlingYext, 10 Dec 2024Tiny battery for any phone, let alone one that's rugged. But Samsung gives the ability to use the phone without battery power in "No battery mode". I don't think I ever seen such a thing on any other rugged phones.

Hopefully, this is the direct successor to the XCover6 Pro which has a Snapdragon 7 series SoC and USB3 with wired video output and DeX support. Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 8GB RAM should be fine, though 12GB RAM option would be welcome considering the target market for XCover phones.

Hopefully they add OIS this time to this device. For the price, it's expensive, but considering its a niche device for its features, its the perfect device for my Dad

              LGs, 10 Dec 2024Small battery.True

But that is the fate of a replaceable battery, they need more space than a build in one.

And that is fine by me, a while ago I had to replace a battery of a LG G8 and they probably used all the glue in the world to glue that thing in, I nearly bend the battery after that thing was swimming in isopropyl alcohol.
