Samsung Galaxy S26 series to mark a return to Exynos

13 December 2024
Obviously, the Korean company would rather not pay Qualcomm for its chips.

What a complete and utter disaster the Samsung of the 2020s is.

A return to Exynos (not once in history was Exynos up to Snapdragon standards, except when Samsung was manufacturing both chips, how convenient), same design 4 years in a row now (S22, S23, S24, S25) an iOSification of One UI with the latest update...and let's not forget the recent marketing campaign bashin' on Apple users for being sheeps, alongside the motto and i quote "If you try to fit in, you won’t stand out".

What's not to hate ?

With this policy Samsung will loose his clients. Exynos is garbage.

Year after year chinese trying to innovate giving new types of batteris, new screens (Oneplus 13) for example. New chargins speeds, new cameras etc-
Samsung just rebrand and put millions into advertising to promo old horse like its a new dawn. Google and Appel doing same strategy.
Of course its working but said grass with gets dry more and more.
Soon people will go to dfferemt wariants

Anonymous, 13 Dec 2024The Galaxy S26 will feature a Snapdragon chip after all. ... moreNo they will go with Mediatek Dimensity 9600+ or Unisoc Tiger XXX altra mega super duper elite.

Selling worse chips for price same as ones from Qualcoomm yes a vise idea for Samsung bad idea for their customers but in the end noone will be happy.

The exynos was fully enjoyed in pixel.
                That was just fantastic..

Samsung should make a comeback of removable batteries in the S25 series so that people can skip S26 or all later generations :D

Or even better, put 2 to 3 USB-C slots in place of the headphone jack and let the dongle manufacturers do the rest while still having enough room for a physical camera button, finger scan, and sd card slot.

Smartphone size (thinness) is not a problem, nor is water resisting (old Samsung phones with headphone jacks are water resistant and trolled Apple with an ad with it).
It's just an excuse to sell people an expensive first party ear bud that, eventually, can be programmed to lock out other third party ear buds or make older models of the first party ear buds to not work properly and force people to buy a newer more expensive model.
Not to mention ear buds have batteries and batteries can explode like a grenade if not manufactured or cared properly (Note 7 and some Vape models).

                              S25 has been saved. AlhamduliLlah!

I'm waiting for the S25 Ultra to see if it will be light enough to carry around. If not, I'll grab the iPhone 16 Pro and call it a day for the next six years, at least. I've been waiting for Samsung to release something similar to the Pixel Pro/iPhone Pro line with a 6.3" size and all of the features of the Ultra for a while now, but it seems moot at this point. There's even rumors they may drop the vanilla S tier after they dropped the 11" version of their tablets. So glad I already just bought the tab S9 for $445 from UAE.
