I agree to POCO losers argument. C,M,M Pro, X is full of crab. Why they just make X Pro/F but cheaper?

SU7? Have you seen the brake failure on track video?

I was sure Pocos weren't bought by their users for the camera. Though it's just annoying the Redmi Note series exists with slightly better cams and weaker chipsets.

      Why not combine both?

ashrobb, 28 Dec 2024In the midrange, while the 13 Pro 5G is a winner this year,... moreWhat mid-range phones released in 2024 do you think can match or at least come close to the greatness of those older Redmi Note phones?

TheSnowWinterR7, 28 Dec 2024But as far as I remember, Xiaomi is the only Chinese compan... moreThat's not exactly true. I am not denying that Xiaomi may be the most expensive, but every Chinese brand increases their price in markets outside China. And it's not just VAT. The prices can range anywhere between 1.2x to 1.5x/1.6x the China price in the rest of the World.

In the midrange, while the 13 Pro 5G is a winner this year, it kinda pales in comparison to past few gens that were more complete packages and had better battery life, like the Note 8 Pro, Note 9S and Note 10 Pro.
Given how big they are going with batteries this year, I think they said let's forget about optimization and let's cramp all the capacity we can. MIUI used to be great right up until version 11.

Poco is the winner in Indonesia, fyi poco x6 pro and f6 is one of the best sellers here in Indonesia according to marketplace (shopee and Tokopedia)

Oppo and Realme would gladly sell you a 250 EUR e-waste phone with 720p LCD, no gyroscope, and mono speaker 😂. Meanwhile you can buy a Poco X6 Pro for the same price and get pretty much everything better.

pl2rts, 28 Dec 2024I tough that was the case with Samsung and Apple. When i go... moreSome EU countries don't get a charger from Xiaomi in box, like my country.

With Apple, Google, Samsung or Sony that was less of a issue, even while I think the charger should be included.

But those brands support standarized charging tech, a Pixel charger will charge all 4 at it's full capacity, same with samsung charger or even 3rd party ones like from Anker.

But chinese brands use proprietary charging, friend of mine bought a Honor Magic 6 Pro recently and it's a great phone, but Honor just like Xiaomi sell the phones here, even tablets, smartwatches, or kitchen appliances.

But they never sell any of their accessories here, Honor, Xiaomi and Huawei all have that issue

He had to import the charger at a premium, because regular PD chargers don't work with Honor or Xiaomi because of proprietary charging tech, his Anker stuck at 18 watts for his Honor, the same anker that charger his Tab S9 at 45 watts, his ROG Ally at 65 watts and his (work) Pixel phone at 25 watts.

Anyhow importing Honor charger solved his issue and he has the full speed charging, but not including a charger with brands like Honor or Xiaomi is a gigantic issue because you will not be able to charge them at their claimed speeds, because of proprietary charging tech.

Sony, Apple, Samsung and Pixel don't have that issues.

But again, and I am sure people will ignore this oart of what I an saying.

No matter the brand, bricks should be in the box, end of story.

Nah man, not the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ getting the winner.

johan007nl, 28 Dec 2024Not to mention we get NO chargers in the box!!! But we have... moreI tough that was the case with Samsung and Apple. When i got Poco F5 it had 67W charger in it. I have not heard they removed the charger in the box for specifically to EU. I dont also know that EU have it like mandatory to remove charger from the box and always tough that was what Apple made to make more profit and then Samsung fallowed.

Now if they remove it then how they expect people to find a charger to get that support the speeds of charging. Never mind that i cant find cables that get me that 67W speeds. And i have tried several cables that say support for 67W and even 120W but still do maybe 33W as the phone dont show the turbo charging so who knows in what speed it charges.
