You can't fit the same amount of things in a smaller space. It's simple physics. Even then, your whinging is pointless because battery life is exemplary anyway – 8 hours of screen on time is what an average person can expect from an Edge 50 Neo. The chipset isn't fantastic, but it's pretty much the only drawback to the device, and I've heard little to no complaints from either of my mates who have owned the device, one returned his because of display issues, hence my use of past tense. Apart from that, you're getting a good camera system, a flagship grade display, fast charging, wireless charging, IP68, and MIL-STD-810H. The latter three are usually exclusive to the Edge 50 Neo in its price range, especially considering it's usually available for far less than its MSRP.

          With triple cam, ip68, qi charging and LTPO screen.

            Loser: 3.5mm jack and microSD, removed from almost their entire lineup

              I dont get how Edge 50 neo is a winner when it downgraded so much in battery(700mah less than last year)and its SoC is behind the competition....

                The vanilla Edge 50 is criticised for not having AOD. So which Edge 50 models do have it?

                    Edge 50 neo chipset uses is not even midrange level...even the almost 2 years old galaxy a34 domensity 1080 is better than d7300. I would say d8300 ultra, sd7+ gen 3 and sd8s gen 3 is midrange as it has almost double the performance compared to d7300

                      Motorola could be a winner if they were more like xiaomi.
                      But instead they prefer being a looser like samsung.

                              Agree with GSM. The G series was very disappointing and I expected better from the G85. The Edge 50 Neo felt neutered. It could have had a bigger battery and better chipset to really be attractive. Maybe the Edge Fusion wasn't needed.

                                  Different update policy across different markets should be forgiven.

                                    That 8s gen 3 in 50 Ultra is very much downgraded performance if it gets 1.1M in Antutu score. When in Poco F6 the same chip is close to 1.5M

                                      Motorola needs to be better... release the phone to more market, it would be better if it was released in a big market like Indonesia. In India alone, they are not in the top 5 market share while Vivo is growing.
