Biggest Loser: Lack of empathy for the Budget-Minded so troll smartphone makers like Itel could easily have it.

My personal opinion as someone who owns an Edge 30 Fusion:

    - Can't call a phone an "Ultra" when it has the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 instead of the real flagship 8 Gen 3. At that price point, it needs to be high end.

    - What happened to the G series? They've not released a midrange beast like the G100 (SD870, massive screen, massive battery, great design) in a good while and it is noticeable.

    - Outside of the pantone colors, what is actually exciting about their phones? They need longer support, better cameras and their flagships sorely need a huge boost to battery capacity, 5000+mAh

Of course, if you want to play graphics heavy games, then this device is not for you. But for all other moderate users this device offers great value proposition.

I'd even go as far to say that this was the best value for money device of 2024. You simply can't get all its features in a single device at this price point. A great all-rounder.

I have to give credit to Motorola this year as overall winner and true underdog. They are one of the few OEMs that are still making phones with reasonable width and weight for normal hands. The OS update situation is a huge bonus, although Lenovo doesn't have a good track record. After all the years of hating Motorola, it's good that they turn around for the better.

Both razr50 and 50 neo are equipped with D7300
(Strictly, razr50 is a 7300X optimized for two screens)
There are significant differences in other performance aspects and especially in cost, but at least in device performance the 50neo should be rated as abysmal performance as well.

Bosic012, 30 Dec 2024I love my Edge 50 Neo, seems to be a good step for Motorola.I got my Neo yesterday and love it. The size, weight, display, fast charging, stock android and even the camera make this a great midranger. Motorola phones typically have terrible cameras, but this one is very decent, and I haven't even tried GCam yet. I'm still on the September patch though and it's January in two days, so I'm not convinced the company has changed its way with updates.

The Razr phone has evolved into a modern flip phone and looks nothing like the OG Razr phone. That's a good thing I guess. You can only rely so much on nostalgia.

I love my Edge 50 Neo, seems to be a good step for Motorola.
