They are going to use powerVR gpu, and NPU is 9-18 Tops, so don't be suprised if next gen midrange soc like D8400, sd 8s elite, 7+ gen 4 etc to be better overall.

Even Qualcomm suffer a lot efficient wise when they use External modem.

          No difference between Pixel and Huawei chip performance. I love Pixel and Huawei. Choosing Pixel over other Android manufacturers like Samsung will be a hard deal due to performance and GPU performance, my major issue with Huawei is soft support am not much concerned about the performance due to their smooth OS performance and integration. Two things that are important to me most is Hardware(Performance) and Software. I will render have Huawei and Honor Tablets than any other brands tablets. As soon as Google Tensor is up to pair with the rest am going for Google Pixel Pro for my smaller and compact size phone. Once Huawei are free from Stupid and baseless US hegemony sanctions am going for their Mate Series. My Top Tablet will always be Huawei or Honor. Samsung will have a hard chance winning me over once these brands meet up with these terms. Samsung uses excellent Software and Hardware to hold and attract customers but recently they have been lacking behind with Apple with rivals when it comes to Battery and other essential camera components

                Hope there will be a great improvement over previous pixel phones. G5 manufactured by TSMC would be big upgrade. Planning to buy if released early, else will be moving to iPhone.

It's not precise or convenient enough as a camera button and when you tap it, you are moving the phone and there is more chance of blurry photos. A nice camera UX with intuitive gestures can easily replace that button. I really liked Moto G's phone screen as a shutter button approach, and Nokia 808 PureView's swipe to zoom.

                  Action button on the other hand would be a welcome feature. A multifunction button that you can program that supports actions such as: Tap, double tap, tap and hold, double tap and hold, triple tap.

                    Now the condition is different if you're using something like 8 Gen 1 which is made by Samsung. Moving to a 8+ Gen 1 is a big jump, both in terms of efficiency and performance. Heck, even 870 is more efficient than Snapdragon 888/888+/8 Gen 1.

                    tl;dr Samsung-made chipset are mostly bad, and moving to TSMC will be a huge jump.
