So many phones today like Redmagic or ROG lost the power to become all in one machine because they have no slot for those. Emulated console games do not need UFS class of storage. They are more than fine on sd cards.

And imagine promoting dongles lol.

Contrary to popular belief, internal storage doesn't give any noticeable faster speed than a microSD card, including for the top-range model. Even Notebookcheck only managed to get 253MB/s of file transfer speed from Vivo X200 Pro's internal storage*. A SanDisk Extreme or Extreme Pro microSD card can easily hit that figure.

Just yesterday, a friend came to me complaining about the microSD card on phone getting slow. I took a look at it, and it didn't took long for me to know it's a fake. I then asked him to get a genuine factory-backed card, and he couldn't be any happier.

              And Samsung still won't put microSD card slot for their flagship phones amyway. I still have no problem using my two-year-old entry-level Kingston 512GB microSD card for my LG V50 and the transfer speed never deteriorates through times.

                DJI Osmo Pocket, GoPros, DJI Action and Insta360 Ace Pro 2, X4, drones, are few examples of devices still using an SD cards. I guess world outside of phones doesn't exists wit these people.

                  I don't get it why some people just say MicroSD is slow for phones, I mean yes but it can REC 4K and even some games on phones if allowed and boot similliar as internal. Not every files is designed for high speed but sometimes need bigger space.

                      Strange that Samsung doesn't take v60 or v90 only Lexar makes faster 16 pins micro sds and ProGrade and only Delkin makes V90's

For gaming it wouldn't make sense but you can store pictures, notes etc. This will complete eliminate the need for cloud storage and you should probably learn how sd card communicate with a smartphone.

                          They could have had Amy 64gb and Big the Cat 32gb.
                          Shadow is better than Sonic though so they got that part right.

                            People really think that SD cards are only meant for phones!

                              Please take a moment and search for one of my previous posts in the last 40 days regarding micro SD cards for Android.

                              To sum up:
                              Micro SD in any speed is FAR TOO SLOW!
                              None can match UFS3.0 speeds and were at UFS4 commonly at 90% of Android phones on sale anywhere in thw world, and IFS4.1 for Gaming phones.
                              Its NOT simply about storage space as 2TB is rare and silly expensive at regular retail pricing.
                              Reading and writing at MicroSD speeds will slow your phone down.

                              Get a small and flat USB-C storage drive a few are magsafe for cases that have magnets. Theyll come very close to the data transfer speeds of most top end phones have.

                              Give it up stop whining MicroSD is too slow for Android. Get a USB-C storage its faster and cheaper at 2TB storage size AND you can get up to 8TB storage more than MicroSD!

                                    Samsung phone come with USB OTG meaning esp. the high end phone you can attach these via a card reader directly to the phone
                                    You can further use them as an alternative / variation to a SSD backup

                                    E.G cloud storage allows access to a very low data storage amount
                                    Cost microSD cards Sonic characters divided by monthly storage fee equals the time taken for the card to pay for itself

                                    The microSD card + card reader is the same as a USB stick.
                                    Every time Samsung announces microSD it is always followed those who post trite nonsense
                                    I surprised that we haven't seen why are Samsung still making memory card when iPhones don't support them

It was not designed for a modern smartphone usage. Heck, even eMMC is faster than SD card speed.
