Anonymous, 24 Dec 2024I love how most comments are people complaining that Samsun... morethe point we are tryning to make is that Samsung makes sd cards but cant be bothered to support them in their phones (to sell you on cloud storage or larger storage in their phones). samsung is the most popular and widely available android manufacturer, so why wouldn't we talk about them?

I love how most comments are people complaining that Samsung phones don't have SD cards anymore, as if those were the only devices that exist (all Samsung tablets have microSD slot), or that you're only allowed to use Samsung flagships, or that you can only use Samsung cards WITH Samsung phones (using Sony is sacrilege apparently), or as if microSD adapters suddenly ceased to exist lmao.

My gaming laptop is nice(bought it refurbed for under 1000 euros with rtx 2080, i7 9750h and 32gb ddr4 ram in late 2019) but it does not have any sd card slot and for additional storage i bought usb type c adapter which has usb3(i have small usb 256gb in it) and micro sd card slot(have 512gb card in it) but it just sticks out so for my next gaming laptop i will make sure it will have sd card slot(i have adapter for micro sd cards which is much smaller than regular sd card adapters so it will not stick out).

Why bother making sd cards if you're gonna remove the card slot from all of your devices
I can't think of who this is aimed for besides those still using phones from 6 years ago

I would buy this microSD if my laptop supported it but it doesn't, I don't know why some gaming laptops don't have microSD slots when handheld PCs do.

Android is supposedly so advance, yet it cannot use a microsd card unlike the Steam decks and Nintendo Switch that can run games off the sd card.
