pl2rts, 27 Dec 2024X6 Pro already had massive upgrade from X5 Pro. Going from ... more1200 more multi score is quite good, although this is just an initial test, it could be faster later.. Just waiting for GPU performance. Rumored specs also include 6.5K mAh and 90W charging so this is a big upgrade along with the IP60 series and others.

If this is not cheaper than the Turbo 3 was at launch then introducing a pro model will be just a way to increase prices. If this is cheaper than the launch price of the Turbo 3 and the pro is similar to the Turbo 3 then they both will be pretty good options. I think 1,699rmb would be a decent price for the Turbo 4

As the Xiaomi do more phone series and weird naming. Like at first was Turbo then skip Turbo 2 to Turbo 3 and now release Turbo 4 that will be X7 Pro rebrand as it come out later and even more later will be Turbo 4 Pro that be rebranded to Poco F7
Xiaomi with it's naming is confusing as always

MTK is like AMD or what AMD use to be. Cheaper chip then SD and in PC world cheaper then Intel and Nvidia. Now is also better then the intel and Nvidia.
MTK can go past SD soon too. In the end of the day it's not MTK problem when cheap brands have other cheap parts in the devices that make the MTK look bad in customers hand. Just like the hate on Exynos in here. For majority of customers dont much care for the chip name when the phone works with no issues and the issues are mostly anyways software based. For average user i dont think they can make much of a difference if Samsung S23 have Exynos or SD 8 Gen 2 in it that both are with similar performance

rizki1, 27 Dec 2024finally a phone for those of you who complain a lot about R... moreX6 Pro already had massive upgrade from X5 Pro. Going from D8300U to D8400 isn't that big of a upgrade to compare the jump with the X6 Pro.
I had already took Redmi Note out of my list of phone to buy 18 plus months ago when i got Poco F5 while i was looking to get X5 Pro at the time. Cause of the Note series have low performance and price have gone too much up and isn't bang for a buck anymore for a long time. Poco took the title over as bang for a buck and still is bang for a buck especially on what you get in the price range of X6 Pro to F6.

Can't see much upgrade here at all from the Turbo 3. Seems to have the same cameras (at least the same main camera), a similar screen, not a big difference in performance. The turbo 3 is now officiallly 1,599rmb but there is a coupon of 100 so it's 1,499rmb so I'm wondering what price this will be. There is only really one significant upgrade and that is the battery life. Shouldn't be more than 1,699rmb really considering snapdragon 8 gen 3 phones with superior cameras are being launched at 2,199rmb

Better multicore.
Hmm, looks like Qualcomm Snapdragon takes another year in this segment too. 7 Elite/7(+) Gen 4 might take the lead.
Good SoC nonetheless. Only a matter of time when both SoC have level playing field with app and game makers show some love to Mediatek too.
Never thought Mediatek could catch up with Qualcomm let alone compete but they're looking promising.
