With the previous SE and 14 series going, this gives Apple the £500-£700 price bracket with which to fit in the various storage sku’s (likely 64, 128 and 256gb) before hitting up against the 15 series.

The 15 series is then going to stick out like sore thumb mind, being the more expensive yet in someways less capable model. Were I Apple, I would have done away it as well, thus simplifying the line up and being able to claim all current iPhone models were ‘Apple Intelligence’ ready…for whatever that’s it worth 🤷‍♂️

This just supposition on my part but I wouldn’t be surprised if this is how it goes.

              For 499, it's honestly quite okay. Of course the complaints will always be the lack of ultrawide or 120hz, but no way it has to be 200.

                  So it's basically going to be $600 to $700 internationally. Hopefully it has at least 128GB of storage.

                      Let's see how things unfold. Sometimes the original plan is very different from what is speculated. For example, every year we say that Apple will introduce a high refresh rate for the base model, but it still hasn't been available to this day.

                          Yeah that I call overpriced, people should either buy android or older iphone which could be around same price but has ultrawide or even telephoto.
