There is a serious hunger for smaller nodes. You can forgive TSMC given the scale of the technical challenges. Imagine going from 4nm to 2nm, that's a 50% reduction in scale and can't be easy.

So, 2025 is the year where 3nm yield is brought to perfection. While one can hope the same for 2nm yield rate in 2027, or 2028 at worst.
