Can you run normal apps on Android Go?

I advise people to spend at least 120 or so euros or just DONT get a smartphone and enjoy a dumb one.

I know because I live in an area filled with them. This phone will sell to those people. Tesco will stock these in bulk for example

            Nice phone... For 2014.

HMD should stop making these pointless budget phones and focus on the Skyline. Right now, it’s their only good phone, and its main weakness is its software support. If HMD has less phones, they could support the Skyline for longer. And it’s not like they’re selling the Skyline at a loss, so HMD could still be profitable without budget phones.

Except there’s just one problem: under capitalism, the goal of a company is to maximize short-term shareholder value. And the best way for HMD to do that is with crappy budget phones.

HMD keeps launching devices that feel outdated the moment they’re announced. With this chipset and 2GB of RAM, it’s hard to imagine a smooth experience, even with Android Go. Why not aim for at least a slightly better SoC to make it usable for more than just calls and texts?

I'm getting so tired of this. Why does a cheap (inexpensive) phone have to be cheap (disgusting)?

Why not save some money by keeping the display small and improve other things, specially the chip?! The evergreen love these guys have for Unisoc is turning bizarre now.

I wish for smaller phones with real keypads and touchscreen, just like the old Nokia phones, but running Android. HMD is one company that could actually do that. Instead, they choose to do this nonsense!

They could've replicate Infinix way like their current Smart series with a 120hz, G81 chip, and make it $80-$90 for like 128 GB internal

Just stop doing business HMD. You're adding e-waste after e-waste after e-waste
