Hi GSMARENA, you failed to mentioned from the same report, it says that the iPhone 16E would use the A17 Pro and not the A18 which still supports Apple Intelligence.

All the SE have always had the latest chip in them so all were able to play games.
I dont think people specifically would get the 16E for gaming as the main reason to buy the phone.

Cpt.Power, 10 Jan 2025Bet it will have up to 4GB ram and 64GB storage as SE 2022 ... more4 GB won't cut it anymore. The 13 stutters already. Wouldn't make sense as it's getting an A18 for Apple Intelligence. It needs at least double the RAM to run the models on-device.

6.06-inches down from 6.1-inches on the 13 and 14. Does this mean thicker borders, akin to the Xr and Pixel 8a? I mean, surely they have to downgrade on the exterior to make it less appealing than the flagship iPhone.

So why even expect to have more then 60 on the SE as the Apple budget class ?
We are talking about Apple here or have you forgotten their way of upgrading features on new models ? If even not all their premium flagship class models even dont have the 120hz with their latest release

I dont get it why would anyone go with the iPhone 14 for the same price and then lose out 2-3 years of software support over going with the 16E ? Now that the SE is same size and everything. The older model have no benefit to buy on lower price. 14 needs to be like 200 euro cheaper to make point to go with it over the 16E

They should stick to LCD. Not a single device from apple with that type anymore. Not everyone can use amoled screens cause of Pwm dimming. Also it would be cheaper and they could implement 120hz without rising price.

Bet it will have up to 4GB ram and 64GB storage as SE 2022 and for 500 bucks.
Hope it at least gets USB C in case of apple it will be maybe 2.0.

But they will have to let go eventually as parts makers sunset 60Hz screen factories and only keep the 120Hz ones.
