First i was talking about new phones, not refurbished ones. Then if you aren’t happy with your purchase you can always return the phone. No one forces you to keep it if you aren’t satisfied. Also my 13 Pro it’s at 79% after 3 years of use. 100$ after 3 years it’s not the end of the world considering you get an official service, genuine battery and it’s convenient. Oficial Samsung services have the similar prices, at least in UK.
And about the cult willing to overpay to be honest i don’t know anyone who bought a refurbished phone from Apple, i know someone who bought from a carrier and received a 100% battery phone at 80% of the price. Depending on your luck i guess, however it shouldn’t be our business on what others buy with their money, no?

A phone with longer updates will hold the price up for longer periods. Samsung it’s notorious for faster downfall of market value compared to iPhones. Personally i keep my phone 3-4 years and then i give them to my parents. They aren’t power users but it’s good to know they got at least 2-3 years of security updates, basically like a new low/mid range.

The flatter frame and the camera ring looks badass
Samsung has taken this design to the top, although there are some shortcomings in the hardware
