Pretty funny watching commenters cheering for the end of Samsung; same ones who cry around about Huawei ending their own chances to compete. They claim it killed competition and innovation in the market. But now they want samsung 'to lose'? guess what your precious chinese phones will do without samsung: Stop innovating and raise prices

Kind of pointless. All have competition except Apple that is only one brand with unique operation system. The rest are competing in Android market.
Fair in this case would be IOS vs Android. And Android have the majority of the market with 100 different brands all making what ever device that run on Android

DarlingYext, 15 Jan 2025I'm hoping for this year's list to be:
1. Appl... more👆 Another wetdream of Vivo user.
"They are too far ahead to be beaten"
Apple and Samsung literally on the same range of 18% markershare, but hey..only Apple is too far ahead.
Anyway Vivo marketshare is too small for the whole year 2024, they are being put under "other" category.

DarlingYext, 15 Jan 2025I'm hoping for this year's list to be: 1. Appl... moreKeep dreaming about that. Samsung can never be 6th or 7th, instead that would likely be xiaomi or transsision, lol. 2nd or 1st (mostly second) is where they would be. Stop worrying yourself about who has the highest android sales, your too big for this.

xcv, 15 Jan 2025All those "record breaking" Samsung sales, and he... moreyou don't understand, Xiaomi is not chasing this high selling price... wake up, they are one of the biggest brands in the world by only selling what you say they are the lowest... also Xiaomi $160 is already equivalent to $300 other brands. What I mean is that Xiaomi can provide Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 at that price, while other brands are priced at $300.

Anonymous, 15 Jan 2025The figures don't differentiate between flagships and ... moreApple have actually relatively the highest sales in Japan together with USA.
Another thing, Samsung is losing gen Y and especially Z in Korea to Apple which says a lot.
Nobody is restricted from entering US market except Huawei (and maybe ZTE?). However:
1) you have to pay to get white listed by US carriers;
2) various patent issues because of Qualcomm.

All those "record breaking" Samsung sales, and here we go again that Apple is no.1.
What is truly astonishing is ASP per manufacturer.
1) Apple ~900 $
2) Samsung ~330 $
3) Oppo ~260 $
4) Vivo ~210 $
5) Xiaomi ~160 $
Even after a decade, Small Rice is still at the bottom of the barrel 🤣.
