stinger27, 28 Jan 2025There is no legal reason to why they cannot have a 6000mh b... morehow does a smaller battery actually save costs tho? You have to understand that using the same manufacturing process for phones is more of a cost saver than slight changes in battery due to economies of scale. They just produce a bunch of 6000 mah batteries and thus get lower costs at one point. But if they have to buy smaller batteries, not only are they getting higher costs due to changing the whole manufacturing process as you have to make sure that the smaller battery fits and you have to have separate machines for that smaller battery.
And bro, do you know something called TAXES? Look at the GPU or monitor market in the UK and compare that to the US, you'll understand what's going on. Countries in Europe have notoriously high taxes.
The only reason i can think of Vivo and Honor NOT selling these high capacity phones in these European countries is because they might have higher taxes and the cost of paying those taxes outweighs the cost of just using a smaller battery. That's the only plausible theory in my head.

"According to Vivo official website :

Admit it, business decision was more likely the reason.
