        I tease Honor about low resolution displays in premium class phones.

                  Galaxy S25 Ultra will be my next new phone.

                  I am dissapointed with short software support of chinese flagship, also the mediocre AI features inside them, no satelite calling, no secure chip to safe personal data.

                    KevinPhoenix, 29 Jan 2025Samsung never got over the Note 7 battery explosions. They&... moreOh, no please don't even start this. Samsung is so lucky that they managed to turn a disaster into their own advantage just because nobody actually looks into what happened.

                    The Note 7 situation WAS NOT (entirely) Samsung's fault, their battery supplier sent them too large -in size not in capacity- batteries that didn't actually fit perfectly into the Note 7's body, thus they didn't leave any room for small and natural battery expansion which caused it to just blow up. Now, mind you Samsung didn't test these batteries, so it's their fault as well, but none of this had anything to do with any sort of fast charging, especially because the Note 7 could only charge with 15W, so this theory is completely false.

                      As I said: I don't care about battery size or fast charging if my phone can hold for one full day. For now, only iPhone can do that.
                      Still, I am moving back to Android with S25 Ultra.

                        Any latest Samsung flagship has faster charging than Samsung flagship from 8 years ago.

                        Also, chinese brands are too afraid not using Android from USA, they are afraid they would get flop sales like Huawei.

They&... moreNah they copy Apple, proof is s25 ultra have same aspect ratio with iphone 16 pro max, same screen dimension (6,9"), almost same dimension too, didn't include charger, slow speed, etc

It has nothing to do with battery life.

                                Samsung never got over the Note 7 battery explosions. They're too afraid to allow faster charging, preferring to play it safe.

                                  The only reason they do this is because Samsung is a Korean company, and China has a "not so nice" relationship with them.

                                  Anyhow, how about fix your own stuff first Honor? Every major brand out there is a better pick than you, especially other chinese brands.

                                    I rather keep my battery safe with Samsung's "slow" charging than degrade my battery with the random bootleg Chinese phones 50000w charging
                                    Samsung and Apple are the biggest brands and both of them have similar charging speeds because they know what's best

                                      The S series has become so boring that even the rival brands have started to roast them

                                        When Samsung mocks Apple for not innovating anymore, Apple doesn't react because, to Apple, Samsung isn't even a competitor in the premium market.

                                        For the same reason, when Honor makes fun of Samsung, Samsung won't respond.
