        punmeisterone, 29 Jan 2025Honor's amazing hardware is sadly paired with the most... moreas someone who switched from Samsung after many many years, from s23u to magic5pro and now to Honor V3, I strongly disagree. Honor's software is as reliable as Samsung ever was for me. I do miss some of Samsung's features, but I would also miss some of Honor's features I got used to. Even this V3 I have for months is working flawlessly even with its fanciest features, portals, folding goodies, window management etc.

          As Honor user (5pro and now V3), I really love your phones, but given that you added even less to this 7th pro generation than Samsung did (if that is even possible) and reduced battery size for EU market cause it doesn't fulfill their quality standards, I would be quiet right now if I was you.

            I enjoy seeing another chinese brand that begins to feel panic because of latest release of Samsung flagship 🤣

They are still... moreHonor's amazing hardware is sadly paired with the most unpolished software, which feels an awful lot like EMUI from 2018. That to me is a barrier to entry, since good software is as important to me as good hardware.

              Oppo and OnePlus honestly have the best, while the others, Honor included, look and behave a lot like iOS knockoffs, including the aggressive battery manager.

                As much as I do think the magic 7 pro is a great phone just isn't on par with Samsung

                  Honor can keep teasing as much as they want. They are still not a first choice for the majority of users. Samsung has the best overall package as well as the best overall ecosystem, Google simply has superior software even if the hardware falls behind a bit and Vivo, Oppo, Oneplus are just the more appealing camera phones for most users and cheaper, too. Doesn't help that Honor still does poorly when it comes to battery life. Not the absolute worse, but worse than should be expected.

                      This is not good, this is not how it is done. No one needs to make fun of Samsung, they are making fun of themselves... As the article says:
