It's impossible to compare brand that have it's own software and have no competition with the software they use. And then to compare that brand with other brands that all share the same software and are in competition with the same software.

It's basically comparing Rolls Royce with VW

    [deleted post]Yes the biggest proof iPhones are overrated is people choose vanilla iPhone over top flagship from others.

      Like who cares??? Apple ships their devices to all countries maybe apart North korea, Cuba, Somalia and Vatican.
      Xiaomi or Motorola or Honor for example ships maybe to 1/3 of what Apple and sells a lot more devices in those countries than Apple.

        BandedKing, 9 hours agoI was about to buy Oneplus 12 but then spending 1000+ on Ch... moreWhich part you live that you pay 1000 for One plus 12? in UK one plus not cost 849 at launch and S24 ultra cost like 1249 for same amount of storage and less RAM for Ultra. That's massive difference. That is all the point of Chinese phones they usually cost half of Samsung phones and are equal or better to Samsung. It is sad to hear for some reason One Plus 12 cost as much as S24 Ultra in your part 🙂

          As per usual Apple has the best selling flagship +$1000 phone.
          As per usual not a single foldable device is in the top 10 sellers because nobody cares for foldables as all current foldables on the market are brittle, weak and usability nightmares that bring no tangible benefit.

            I saw a video on youtube from some tech guy who spoke to CEO in a factory where they assemble iphones how worth is the latest iphone there. He said $10. So they sell in the rest of the world with x100 price increase. We truly live in a crazy world.

                thanks to their brand reputation, customer loyalty, and strong customer service etc companies like Samsung and Apple sort of hold a significant advantage...in contrast, these r something many of these Chinese companies lack or are not well known for (no offense intended)

                However in my case, I don’t prioritize any of that, I purchase whatever I like, as long as it isn't iOS.

                    But some here still think apple is concerned about other brsnds selling 100 million of sub -$250 phones powered by unisoc and dimensity 6xxx.

                        jiyen235, 9 hours agoBro the S24 Ultra's competing with a 2 (now 3) year ol... moreThe s24 ultra isn't competing with a 2 year old phone, that's a childish thing to say and the s24 ultra is already 1 year old and amassing such sale is impressive the 15 series launched in Sept 2023 and still get counted as a 2024 device, so it's more about release date not falling price or deals. And also a newly released OnePlus 13 is now cheaper than an s24 ultra on any website, lol

Samsung wasn't always seen a... moreSamsung used to be considered the odd one at one time lol, or at least that's how people around me viewed samsung compared to Apple, let's say. In the beginning all android manufacturers were considered near equal and Samsung was kinda mocked for its slow TouchWiz, they got people through their immaculate feature set and just built upon that over the years and people naturally liked them.

                              I sense something similar happening with Vivo and Oppo.

                                I used iPhone 15 for one year, excellent device and reliable.

Samsung wasn't always seen as the best phone makers. They're gradually got there so it's perfectly possible to shake up your image especially with Chinese phones having stronger specs.

                                        Most of the users are women they were just falling for iphone ads since they were teenagers and when the guys get gf they r like being forced to switched to iphone otherwise their gf thinks they are poor, bad at making decisions, etc that's their mentality🤣. I haven't seen any girl uses Xiaomi(maybe 1 our of million) but despite that Xiaomi still get many customers🤔
