                      vik457, 5 hours agoWell yes, but actually no. The time delta.It's tcg that applies 3 conversion gains(it's in the name), dcg applies 2 conversion gains. Oh, and time delta part: it doesn't start new exposure, it does it simultaneously.

                              3.X from xiaomi has digital crop on auto mode.
                              Those Honor with 180 mp are crop from 200.

                              For example a 100mm native cropped to 130mm is cheaper than native 130mm lens. This happens far more often than you think.

                              Suspect every time you see lens beyond 70mm that is not periscope with sensor larger than 1/3.2" ..

                                You have same thing .. Frames with different exoosure levels.
                                Difference is regular frame stacking you choose how many frames.
