Samsung posts teaser video for the Galaxy A56 and A36, hints at 6 OS updates

Last year's Galaxy A55 and A35 got only 4 OS updates.

Apart from the Nothing Phone 2a i didn't see any proper competitor to these phones.

              The Galaxy A56 isn't worth paying more than $270-$300

                4 years was more than enough for a mid-range but releasing the software on time is necessary. And what about other upgrades like a telephoto lens or a more powerful SoC? Although the new SoC is plenty for daily usage, battery life isn't as great as others.

                  Samsung have to use a powerful Chipset bruh A55 costs a lot and 2.75Ghz not good atleast give 2.8 or 3Ghz a new better chipset is a better choice :) and ofcourse bigger battery and both will come android 15 out of the box + 6OS updates so the better choice is samsung now I was thinking about buying Poco X7 pro but now I need to wait for samsung :) i hope bigger battery I don't want 5000mAh now

                    Samsung's gotta change the "Awesome" marketing here, because the A series are certainly not awesome anymore. Or anything from Samsung, for that matter

                      Very good. But is it mentioned how many years they will receive these 6 updates? 6, 10, 16, more? Because for S24U they promised 7OS for 7 years, but 1/4 of the year have passed and no update is on the horizon... And there's no point to even asking about S23U...

Pretty much All phones have good camera and video qualitty since 5y ago at least. Yes even likes of A13. What i care like most is the quality and stability. Smooth web n phone surfing with premium materials, clean design , long battery and adequate performance at good price! This A56 for me!

                          The same imx258 ultrawide from 2015.
                          The same Samsung gn3 from 2022.
                          The same imx616 from 2019.

                          Does Samsung care? NO.
