Samsung posts teaser video for the Galaxy A56 and A36, hints at 6 OS updates

Last year's Galaxy A55 and A35 got only 4 OS updates.

They can give even 1000 years of updates phone which have only 1 or 2 years of warranty is useless having more years of updates than warranty.
Everybody would rather buy a phone with5-6 or even 10 years of warranty than a phone with 1-2 years of warranty but 10 years of updates where if your phone breaks first week after your warranty goes off user rather buy new phone than fix old one for price of a new device.

    What's the point of 6 OS updates when you can't push them on time. Also, I'm just frustrated with my S23 FE battery life, it's just worst purchase I've ever did on a phone. I've to use this phone on a light performance profile instead of standard just to survive 9-10 hours on a single charge with normal usage.

                          Wow, that’s great. This is huge for sustainability as the phone can be easily passed on to another user in 3 to 4 years, and it will still be supported.

                          I still remember the days that even a single OS update is considered great in Android world. Now even a mid range is supported as long as the most expensive iPhone.

                              The A-Series is all cute and that but Samsung should start pulling up their socks.
                              Replace Macro with Telephoto, give us 4K@60fps, wireless charging, etc.

                                6 OS updates I fear might be a lot for Samsung, they should try 2 OS updates, maybe then they could at least deliver on their promise.

                                  High.Tech, 24 Feb 20254 years was more than enough for a mid-range but releasing ... moreiphone se 2nd gen comes out 2020 and still getting update.

                                    I'm a big Samsung fan but they have to step up their game now. They are reliant on brand loyalty and that's doing okay at the moment but they're rapidly stagnating and even loyalists won't stand for that forever.
