DarlingYext, 12 Mar 2025Why "Scam mi"?false advertising. They're selling a 95mm/4x lens as a 100mm/4.3x one. This is scammy. I hope they get hit with a court order. Because how is a person supposed to know the lens is actually 95mm?? GSMArena doesn't show it, unlike the Find X6 Pro which showed the ACTUAL native focal length on the site and only in the camera app did you get a "3x" option.
Absolutely despicable move from Xiaomi and from what I've heard they've done the same thing with the 3-3.2x lenses. They were all 2.6-3x ones marketed in a false manner.
I shamed Honor for this with the Magic7 Pro and im not gonna set double standards with Xiaomi. This is absolutely disgusting and it doesn't matter that they're selling the best phone out right now, the way they're doing is just plain nasty.

Xiaomi as a name in the industry is shapening up (though I think they need more than this)... Samsung on the other hand are easily recommendable (facts from the branding name)
Those who may try to afford a xiaomi like this, to the vast majority is like gambling with their savings (probably investment) knowing it's chinese
Those who are sure to afford, vast majority goes after name (aka branding) it's either an Apple or Galaxy 😂
Lastly, I kept this sounding on repeat from year to year, almost every Ultra from Samsung defines how an all round premium device should be. And this stands true because it's hard to say the latest or previous are totally poor on a particular area compared to their rivals.

Samsung S25 Ultra is a mid-range phone with the top of the line processor. Outdated display, outdated camera. Outdated battery with outdated charging speed. All of that for ridicilous price with ridiculous profit margin right in the Samsung pockets.

To me the comparison end up in 2 words: one can run and finish a test, the other can't.
Also with regards to Xiaomi notes..
That's an insult, a paint+wordpad software that can't even export the notes out of Xiaomi Cloud.. ffs

Looks like you get a similar camera experience, an S-Pen, plus better software for a cheaper price. Sorry, the Xiaomi Ultra is great, but a marginally better camera just isn't worth choosing over the S25. Maybe next year.
