Two different takes on the Ultra smartphone clash once again.

Ah, classic internet moment. Fighting about products whereas the people who enjoyed them didn't.

    One look at tele confirmed my guess: xiaomi "killed" samsung in tele detail: clear sharp bricks, cable visible, no big blocks of noise.
    200mp is as good in tele as it is as main camera, with a good enough processing.
    Samsung just lost 1 No1 thing they had for years: best telephoto detail.
    Main reason: they did not upgrade to rumored 7x optics, whatever tech it was. Well, if samsung would move to 200mp amd left 5x optics, it would be enough till something better comes, but I do wonder what they dream about...
    Their hw seems to stagnate, but on foldavles it's way worse than here, hopefully they will realize it, unless it's intentional lol.

      It's just a year newer with One UI 7 and new chipset.

        Hope you can also do a comparison of the Xiaomi 15 ultra versus the Xiaomi 15 as well. The biggest surprise in this comparison is the battery charging speed being so close despite the Xiaomi supposedly having 90w charging versus 45w on the Samsung

More or less the quality is pretty much similar. Might be that s25u has some noise but isn't noticeable. If you're talking about some big difference, either your eyes can see to a microscopic level or defective.

                          compare the sizes of the 3x and their resolution. After that compare the size of the 4.3x/5x and their resolution. Then compare the actual shots. If you still dont see any differences then you're better off using a Galaxy A14.

But the photos are kinda similar to the s25u of the zoom lens. Apart from that, I don't see any point in spending this much on a Xiaomi. Some will say about the display, to my eyes s25u is still a king with anti-reflective coating. As said before get the 14u or the vanilla 15. Which are way better than Samsung's counterparts.

                                    DarlingYext, 12 Mar 2025Marginally better cameras, yeah sure.🤣🤣It almost feels like Samsung fanboys just don't have eyes bro. Like im not even questioning their eyesight im questioning the fact that they're able to see or not.

                                    The drastic difference in style is easy to spot and imo makes the Xiaomi a proper cameraphone, worthy of the Ultra name, the sterile style of the S25 Ultra is only good for people who don't really care about photography. This is not a jab at them, i just think that spending so much for so little is foolish, that's all. Samsung is taking advantage of this fact by charging so much for mid tier stuff.

                                    And even if you ignored the style, the Xiaomi shots are just generally so much cleaner. Only the UW cams are close and that's all down to preference, noisy yet sharper shots of the S25 or the noise-free yet blurrier shots of the 15U? Otherwise the Xiaomi makes the Samsung look half a decade old (which it is). This comparison makes me feel the same way i felt when I saw shots of an S10+ compared to my S22 Ultra. Apart from videography, Samsung is severely outclassed.

Despite some reduction of functionality of the ultra flagship of Samsung, it's still the most functional business-oriented device with the most professional functionalities. Use your brain at least once. Don't make the Chinese fanbase so stereotyped. On the other hand, this Xiaomi 15 ultra is kinda scam. Bad ultrawide camera, similar telephoto photo results as s25u having a way better sensor, significantly worse UI and only 4 years of software support whereas entry-level Samsung have 6. The 14u is a way better deal.
