It's good I don't have to carry my knife around to cut vegetables and defend myself against trouble anymore 👍

I still have a working pristine condition Galaxy A5 (2014) that has a thickness of 6.7mm. ths thing is light as easily fits into the shirt pocket like the days of Blackberry Onyx. I can't imagine how fragile the S25 would be to be under 6mm LOL

I'm interested. At least it's different than what's out there.
If I could make one change it's to base it on the 6.2in vanilla and make it below 150gr.

There are way thinner devices, foldables or not, now or in the past. Will be interesting to compare the hardware, if it's really up to 2025 standard...

ThunderCrackR, 07 Mar 2025All in all, their phones and tablets never broke into piece... moretheir flagships have consistently failed drop tests, just look on youtube. Now all smartphones fail after a few drops but for some reason, samsung flagships break right on first drop. It doesn't matter what kind of protection their put but yea, their phones do fail miserably there

At least this has more potential and marketing value than it's Iphone counterpart

Nice weight, i like that, but i feel it's simply not enough. Samsung was behind on battery and camera tech already, and now they have to make this one even worse, just to make it slim.

The guys at gsma apparently aren't aware that weight matters as well
The slim only weights 162g, compared to 190g for the S25+

Better camera with 200mpx, beautiful design, lighter, slimmer, big screen, less bezel. Willing to trade that for a possibly smaller battery and no telephoto camera that i don't use.
Definitely my next phone instead of the S25+ with no improvement in four years.

Hopefully it will at least COST less lol.

I really doubt that, slightly lesser height will actually improve the handling of an extremely long and wide device.
That's why I never get thinness race, the companies are in.
It doesn't actually result in a more convenient device.
Our hands are not actually designed to hold immense rectangles.
