The update to One UI 7 based on Android 15 hasn't even gone out yet.

Why can apple do this, but not Samsung? If you visit the SamMobile firmware page, you'll see that Samsung's updates are segmented by multiple factors:
- Device
- Exynos/Snapdragon chip models
- Region
- Carrier-lock models
- Enterprise-Edition models
(Not even Google has this fragmentation)

If Samsung wants to reduce these factors & make updates more streamlined, they need to shave off a lot of old code. They have to spend a little bit of time so that they can start fresh again. If you read about earlier OneUI 7 rumors you'll know that they had to remove TouchWiz code that's been left untouched for a decade. They need to release one Exynos/Snapdragon model to all regions.

The real disappointment is not in delaying OneUI 7. The real disappointment is when OneUI 8 (& later) have the same janky fragmentation as previous OneUI versions.

Still crying in comment sections? Remember Samsung isn't Pixel for you. So its very advanced interface and this time its getting a huge update. Pixels already got it and? No any changes. Same boring ugly interface. Wait for One UI 7 and you will get a stable and cool update.

I just hated the overly vibrant screen on the S2 (and it looked so yellow to me, for some reason). I had phones from Motorola, Asus, Sony, Honor, Huawei, HTC, so lots of different brands. Most of their phones had a bunch of some more some less annoying problems after major updates, but my S23U always just worked well. That's why I personally dont mind slower yet more polished updates.

Also yeah older phones will also work without new updates, but there is no guarantee for how long or if the older OS version will support everything flawlessly in the near future. It's a give and take, no matter how you twist it. Fast updates feel better but can cause issues, slow updates are more polished, but waiting can feel bad. Can't make everybody happy.

You are just as much of an issue as Samsung's current play with their users is, making them wait on the intentionally delayed software updates.

They didn't promise new Android versions to be released same day as Pixel or anything like that. This is all in your head.

(Some people and even websites may say why f06 uses one ui 7 out of the box and the answer is simple : no matter if they mention [core] in software information section or not, budget phones always get something like uncompleted software or you can say the UI isn't polished and YES nobody cares much about that simply because it's a budget phone after all)

This new AI initiative slowed everything down. If you noticed other phone makers are also struggling to add AI features to all their models and it's taking forever. If they are doing it individually like you said, for better optimisation and all, why didn't they attend to their premium users first before their low end users?
As a matter of fact, this is an utter shame to Samsung as a company. I don't see any reason why I should get their flagship device and still not be able to experience the latest android experience. It's not worth it, truly. I'd rather get a midrange Chinese brand device over an outdated flagship.
