The update to One UI 7 based on Android 15 hasn't even gone out yet.

Really Samsung, gatekeeping software & features to sell your latest devices. That's just sad. This is how you know that innovation has taken a back seat in this company. Large companies like this only listen when their bottom line gets affected, people need to stop buying Samsung for a while. Which will be admittedly hard when all of your data is tied to Samsung's software offerings. Which is why companies make Eco-systems to begin with, not to make the user experience better but rather to make it harder to switch to other brands when they eventually screw you over.

    So people won't have to wait 6 months for the update, only 3 months? Being faster than what they are currently doing doesn't mean much, it could still be extra slow.

                OneUI 7 is slow to release, Samsung already start working on OneUI 8 now and if course, people complain still. Be happy that they already with this, so the next release will be much faster.

                              2nd, if you let them get away with stuff, where will it end (i.e. no charger in the box)?
                              What's next? Pay a subscription if you want updates?
                              Nah, dawg. Samsung screwed it, big time. I think they're doing it on purpose to make people buy newer phones.

The rest will get OneUI7 first... someday... then a planned 6+ month beta and if they were patient enough, there will be OneUI8. As long as it doesn't take 7 years to polish and the phones aren't supported anymore.

                                    Good for them as the One UI 7 update situation isn't looking good for a behemoth of a company like Samsung and their users are loosing trust on them.
