Well they switch to vulkan from openGl. Obviously they will skip oneui 7 from Half of the promised device to oneui 8. Hope this goes well...

One ui 6.1 is already running fine on my s24 plus. No need to hurry. But when it arrives you will be really happy. Better late and great than early and bad.

That’s not how it works. Samsung still has to optimize OneUI for each phone the same way that Apple does. If Samsung didn’t release 50 phones every year, then that would be a lot easier
