Senseless phone, I would much rather buy a little bit thicker phone for a better battery life. Like a thicker S25 with better cameras and +20% or more larger battery size.

Perox, 11 Mar 2025Samsung should upgrade S series from 5000mah to 6000mah.why... moreIt was just like IPhone they just copied the strategies of iPhone it has little battery mAh but they balance it in system or software battery optimization, where even it has little capacity it will take long to be low battery

Never thought I am seeing the day when most Sony Xperia devices has a bigger battery than a Samsung device again since 2014. Oh well, Samsung.

I just wanted to understand why Samsung is taking so long to make updates while Sony has already taken the lead even for some older devices along with the Google Pixel?
Another detail, why is the Bitten Apple copying Sony and Samsung so much to the point that the CTRL-C + Ctrl-V of Sony Xperia devices is visible?
It's getting so ridiculous while Sony has only been coming up with countless different features and quality items. Nowadays, Smartphones are either Google Pixel or Sony Xperia and the Xperia 1 Mark VI is a spectacle, passing all its competitors by the tractor...
It's beautiful, the battery can last up to 2 days and it has the best cameras and everything a smartphone needs to have...

i dont undersand why are they making there products thin and especially when they do no have the capacity to give large battery in flagship or atleast they should use silicon carbide tech. I was atleast expeting 4500 mah battery in s25 edge but the leaks are disappointing…..sad ☹️

Fire Smeller, 11 Mar 2025Samsung could have struck gold if they should have adopted ... moreSamsung should adopt 5000mah as the least battery capacity on all its S series...then the ultra should have 6000mah....the reason i dont waste huge amounts on buying S series its because of the small batteries...so i have to go for M n S series

Silicon carbon battery tech would've been ideal for this kind of device.

Rolly Ghiz, 11 Mar 2025The OnePlus 13 is too thick for comparison. Check out the n... moreTotally agree with the first point. Samsung missed a huge opportunity with silicon batteries in the S25 Edge. Hopefully, they'll implement it in the next iteration.
Regarding throttling, my base S25 has been rock solid in daily use. Absolutely no issues, even under heavy daily usage. It's a massive improvement over my old Pixel 8, which was a nightmare of overheating, slowdowns, and connectivity problems. Plus, the S25's form factor is so much better. I couldn't stand the bulky, heavy Pixel 8. The base S25's form factor is a breath of fresh air, and it's a much more enjoyable phone to use.

Ouifuf, 11 Mar 2025What's with Samsung apple and Google dragging their fe... moreThe OnePlus 13 is too thick for comparison. Check out the newly announced Tecno Spark Slim. At 5.75mm, it packs a 5200mAh battery capacity. Sammy has no excuse, really.
It's also important to note that their regular S25 series throttled under heavy load. This one is slimmer, consequently having a smaller VC, so the sustained performance would be really, really bad.
Personally, I do not see the purpose of this device
